For example lets look at the limiting belief that I will never get ahead. This is simply not true. You can get ahead. So an empowering belief would be "I will be successful in any venture that I attempt." What about the limiting belief that I won't get that raise I want and need? An empowering belief would be that "I deserve and will get a great raise that my company will be glad to give me for my wonderful work." What about the belief that I won't get any more clients? An empowering belief would be "People would love to pay for my services and sign up as clients."

Or that I won't get enough clients in time to keep my business doing well? These are limiting beliefs. Am I panicked about where I will get the money to pay my bills? This may be an obstacle to overcome rather than a limiting belief because it may be true that you are short on money right now. However, this obstacle can be overcome. You can get a part-time job, you can sell items you own that you do not need or you can ask for a gift of money from relatives or friends. These are ways to overcome this obstacle.Back to limiting beliefs.
